Here’s a topic that nobody loves: have you ever stood on the scale, looked down, and said, “Noooo! I don’t weigh that much! That’s a bunch of bull! How can that be?”
You know what though? As the saying goes, “De-nial ain’t just a river in Egypt.” You do weigh that much, and there's two things you can do about it. One: something, and two: nothing. And if you decide to choose “Door One” – something – then go for it. Give it your best shot! Commit to losing the five, ten, twenty pounds. Go to Weight Watchers. Go to Overeaters Anonymous. Get some support and lose the weight!
But if you decide to choose Door Two and you’re not going to do anything about it, then: relax. Enjoy your chunkiness! I'm chunky! You’re chunky! Everybody's chunky! Everybody's overweight, everybody's got five, ten, twenty pounds they could lose. Don’t worry about it! Enjoy.
Enjoy yourself. Enjoy your body and embrace your life every day! Look in the mirror at your little potbelly, at your little big butt...and enjoy your life! That number on the scale is just that: a number. It doesn’t define you OR your life. Enjoy!
