There's a movie going on inside of your head and you see the movie with these
things – your eyes - and it's out here, the movie – all around you.
Think of the producers and directors of the movie as your ‘point of view’. That means if there are any changes that need to be made to the movie, then you need to change your point of view.
If your response is, “Well, I am the way that I am because I am the way that I am...and that’s just the way it is.” Well, I don't know about that. How’s that been working out for you? If you want to change your point of view...then YOU have to CHANGE it. YOU have that power. Nobody else.
For instance, if you're not a confident person – or even if you’re very confident, and you'd like to be more confident, just say, “I am very confident”, and say that
over and over and over again. Change the point of view from “I'm not very confident” to “I'm very confident!”
“I'm not very good at remembering people's names.” Stop that, and begin to say, “I am excellent at remembering people's names!”
“I’m very healthy.” I've never been healthy in my life.” “I am VERY healthy!”
Change your point of view...and you will change your life (and maybe even the lives of those around you too!)
Hope you have a great week – see you next week!
