People want to be happy, satisfied, and know their life makes a difference. If you want your life to make a difference, there’s three things I recommend.
The first is to give away your old clothes. That means you go in your closet, go in your drawers, and if you haven’t worn that piece of clothing in a year, give it away. Give it to the Goodwill. Give it to Amvets. You’ll help somebody else, and you’ll feel good about yourself!
The next is to give blood. If there’s a blood drive in your neighborhood, at your local library or the local school, give a pint of blood. Or look for your local Red Cross center, or Heartland or LifeSource blood banks, and make friends there! You only have to do that a couple times a year to make a huge difference.
The third one is to give money to your favorite charity. My favorites are the Wounded Warriors Project, Special Olympics, and Doctors Without Borders. I feel really good when I give money to those organizations, because I know they’re focused on their missions and really have a positive impact on the people they’re trying to help. If you’re not sure about where to donate, look at a reputable site like www.charitynavigator.org
So, if you’re looking for ways to make a difference in your life and the lives of others, those are three things I recommend you try. You’re going to be happy, and satisfied with your life. Wait and see – give it a shot!
