You want to replace the phrase ‘have to’ with ‘get to, so it sounds like this:

“I have to go to work tomorrow” …replace it with “I get to go to work tomorrow”.

“I have to watch the kids” with “I get to watch the kids”.

“I have to go to the gym” to “I get to go to the gym”.

“I have to wake up at 5:30 tomorrow morning” …”I get to wake up at 5:30 tomorrow morning”.

Think about it. How would you rather approach life: thinking of all the things you ‘have to’ do? Or all the things you ‘get to’ do?

‘Have to’ sounds like an obligation…drudgery.

But ‘get to’? It’s all about opportunity! Privilege! (And isn’t that what each of those things mentioned above are?)

It's a little thought-trigger that you have at your disposal to frame how you look at what you’re doing in your life.

Give it a shot – see what happens.

Have a great week – I bet you will!
