Charles Swindoll is an educator, author and preacher who has written about attitude. Here’s one of his writings on the subject of attitude:

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than the facts. It is more important than the past, than education and money, than circumstances, than failures and successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company, a home, a church.

The remarkable thing we have is our choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past, we cannot change the fact that people act in a certain way, we cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play the one string we have and that is our attitude.

I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it…and so itis with you. We are in charge of our attitudes.”

He is absolutely right. While we may not be able to control what happens to us, we most certainly can control how we react to what’s happened. Great food for thought…!

Now, let's all have a great week and implement our great attitude – today, tomorrow, and every day to the very best of our abilities.
