Last week, I got a physical. While I was in the office, my doctor and I had a chat, and he talked about his top hundred patients that are the healthiest and the bottom hundred patients that are the least healthy. He said, “Do you know what the one difference is between those two groups of people?” And I’m like, “Attitude!”, which is what I thought. Attitude is everything, right?
My doctor said, “That’s good, but it’s not everything. There's a difference the 100 healthy and the 100 not so healthy, and that difference is exercise.” I said, “What, like a half-hour a day?” And he said “Yup! When you turn 50 and you’re moving on to your older age, you start losing your…you know, your whatever. Your jimmy. Your mojo. It goes down slowly, but it does go down over time. Exercise will help keep that in place!”
So, don’t forget the exercise this week. This month. This quarter. This year! And feel better.
What the heck, why not?! What have you got to lose?
See you next week.
